We could easily pick reprints here or note the cards that werent previously Modern-legal, but now are - cards like Shardless Agent and Counterspell are obviously incredibly exciting

A cheap, repeatable sacrifice outlet is also generically strong, so you lose out on very little when you play this

Surely, you could put that money toward something better, right

An ability of the equipped creature or an emblem you own that triggers when a creature "leaves the battlefield" will trigger twice if that creature leaves the battlefield by dying

While these effects arent mechanically identical to looting, they share enough design space and utility that a deck interested in looting is likely interested in these cards
